Operation Fruit Rescue Edmonton works to educate folks on how to harvest, process, and preserve the local harvest. Visit their web site to learn more. I serve as Treasurer, and you'll see me around many of their events.

Edmonton River Valley Conservation Coalition works to protect our river valley as a contiguous and connected wildlife corridor and natural area. Visit their web site to learn more and get involved.
Riverlot Walks
I organize Riverlot Walks on a semi-regular basis in collaboration with local historian Tom Monto, and a few others on and off. Structured as a community conversation, much like a Jane's Walk, these walks serve as an opportunity to get to know Edmonton's geography and history a little better.
Strong Towns Local Conversation
I am a founding member and one of three local conversation leaders for Strong Towns YEG, along with Drina Schneider and Clinton Wong. We exist to educate and generate conversation on the strong towns approach to building resilient local communities, along with their 5 core campaigns that lay out what actions we can take at the municipal level towards this vision.
